Anything Is Possible reveals the impact of funding for local sport programs. The film tells the story of Tramayne Stephen and the Tyson Bailey Fund, showcasing Tramayne’s passion for football, the challenges he faced to play, and his drive to give back to his community.
Smart and Caring True Sport: Investing in Sport – Investing in Community
Smart and Caring True Sport is a collaboration between Community Foundations of Canada and the True Sport Foundation that funds programs that harness the power of good sport to make communities stronger, healthier and more resilient places to live, work and play.
By incorporating the True Sport Principles into sport programming, the Smart and Caring True Sport fund connects community foundations and sport organizations to build social capital.
This fund provides funding for programs that delivers education through sport and financial support for underprivileged youth.
Current Opportunities – Supporting Community Development through Sport
Through Smart and Caring True Sport, the True Sport Foundation accepts applications for programs that:
- Further the True Sport Foundation’s charitable purpose(s),
- Are values-based and principle-driven, and
- Align with an existing community foundation fund.

Over the last three years, Smart and Caring True Sport has provided over $300,000 in grants to projects focused on values-based sport programming and worked with more than 260 community projects across Canada.
